Cellcrypt has launched Cellcrypt Mobile for BlackBerry smartphones, allowing Blackberry users to benefit from its high level security solution for mobile voice calls.
Cellcrypt Mobile provides end-to-end real-time encryption to ensure the security of mobile conversations without the need for specialised equipment or infrastructure.
It allows companies to prevent mobile voice conversations being intercepted, affording this type of communication the same level of security as the encryption technology used to protect sensitive documents.
Until recently, this type of voice security was only available using specialised military-specification equipment, whereas Cellcrypt operates with an easy-to-use interface on commercially available BlackBerry smartphones.
The Cellcrypt Mobile client for Blackberry smartphones is available immediately.
The technology was revealed at the Wireless Enterprise Symposium held in Florida by BlackBerry maker RIM.
