We have recently been tipped by someone who claimed that there are many vehicles like Qualis, Sumo etc seen around the roads in India which resemble the Google Street View vehicles and there are chances that Google is getting ready for this. A Google Employee did mention that India would be a plan for the Street View service but they cannot share any of the plans as of now
